Ingredients

• 6 cl of light rum
• 2 teaspoon of lime juice
• 2 teaspoon of grapefruit juice
• 1 teaspoon of Maraschino

Preparation

Mix the ingredients in a blender with crushed ice

History

The story goes that Hemingway went into the bar (the Floridita) to use the toilet. On his way out, he was attracted by the drink that everyone was having. He tasted one and said: "It's good, but I prefer it without sugar and with a double rum". So Constante (creator of the Floridita daiquiri) made it to his liking, served it to him and said, "Here you go, Dad! Thus was born the cocktail that bears his name: "Papa Hemingway". Later, grapefruit juice was added, to create the Hemingway special.
